PATCH ADAMS: each one of us, has his/her own clown inside to show to the world and make people smile!
I've found one beautiful scene (because there's a good speech), but for me the best one is when he makes children laughing in their hospital room. If you have never seen this film I recomend it to you! Not only because I would like to be a doctor, I think you'll feel different after watching it!
I still haven't seen this movie but I caught the idea. People who are in hospital need some form of psychological help or support, not only treating the body, especially people with a terminal or life-threatening diseases. That’s why is so important to give a psychological support to the patients, talk to them, listen to them with the aim of encouraging them or help to find consolation. Some professionals have a special focus and talent for this. It's an extremely stimulating work.
ReplyDeleteI really think we realised how useful can be to be positive in the hospital, when us or someone we love needs our company, but it's also really important to keep this attitude when we are outside! ^^) Thanks for your comment.
ReplyDeleteI haven’t see this movie (and honestly I recognise that it be starring by Robbie Williams it´s not helpful for me but I agree with Lilyana.I suppose that Path Adams is a genuine, good-hearted and intelligent person. I know this film is based on his real life. I hope that in our world we can find this kind of angels where ever we go, with other profession : teacher , fire fighter,...or without : mother ,brother , neighbour , classmate...Don´t forget : first be a person , a good person.
